If you haven't been able to experience the first one, it's far too late! Bejeweled 2 Deluxe is out now! [Well, actually, it's been out for quite a while, but considering it's a new experience for anyone willing to give it a try, we're going to make it seem all brand-spanking new just for you.]

Bejeweled is a game that doesn't require a lot of thought, but it is extremely addicting. I see it as the new tetris. It's quite simple, merely move a jewel to make a set of three. The set up is like this:

Pretty, isn't it? It's not difficult to make sets of three in that mess. There are also times when you are able to make sets of four, and the rare occurrence of affraid

sets of FIVE. Bejeweled 2 Deluxe has graduated from the original version with a few changes. Whenever you make a set of four, an even SHINIER jewel will appear from that same color. When you use that jewel to make a set of three later on, it will ESPLODY.

Because the set of five is so rare, you get an extra special surprise. A white ball will appear, and when you switch it with any jewel, it will attack every jewel on the screen of that same color.

It's not difficult to gain points in this game. When you fill up the point bar at the bottom of your screen, you will move on to the next level. The purpose is to get as many points as possible before you run out of moves. There is also an Endless and Action game you can choose from on the main screen. Endless is for if you just feel like playing, well...endlessly. Action is a timed game.

ACTION IS VERY STRESSFUL. Your level bar will go down at a steady rate, and you must make sets faster than the rate your bar is decreasing. If you move on to another level, the bar will decrease faster. When the bar gets to a certain spot, it will begin flashing red in order to warn you must either make sets faster, or you will fail soon. You may think it helps, but honestly, it scares the living shit out me.

The music they use for this game is very soothing and otherworldly. It's a series of combined tracks that play on repeat. I've heard it so much that I can hum the whole thing endlessly, backwards, and in another language. [Yes, I can hum in another language. >_>]

I had a SUPER high score for this game on MSN a LONGGGG time ago, I was ranked 6th on the whole site. =D

But I don't remember the score.

Was it on Action or Classic?

If it was on Classic, go find it so I can compare.
