| Ya, that movie was pretty damn good. Honestly, I thought it was more of a Joker movie, guest-starring Batman...but that's what made it awesome. Heath Ledger was a god, and its too bad he died :/ | |

| The most accurate embodiment of epic I have seen from a movie in a long time.
I can't imagine anyone coming even remotely close to Ledger's Joker.

| I heard some no basis rumors suggesting that Johnny Depp would play the Joker in the next film. By the time I'd convinced myself that it just might be a good match, I heard another no basis rumor proclaiming that Depp would be playing the Riddler.
Perhaps it's just wishful thinking. If either of those have some ground in reality, it should be interesting. Depp has the personality for either character, but I know that however entertaining he could make the Joker, viewers will still be wishing for Ledger.

| I've heard that as well.
But then it's like, what, did they hold a fake funeral? Are they proclaiming to the world that he's dead when he really isn't, while keeping him locked up somewhere that no one knows his existence?
