FFR League Points?

Well, I was in my room last night, and I got to thinking...Tier points aren't really fun to get, they take a lot of repetition and patience just to get a decent amount.

I was wondering if you guys would like to have a league (just for fun) to keep everyone on TC active, and making them better players? I have some of the system thought of, but I'm not going to post it until:

A.) You guys approve of something like this (I mean, come on, it'd be fun .)
and
B.) Until I finish creating this system of points that I will create.

Give me some feedback and let me know what you think, and I'll gladly start this.

I've thought of the rules, tell me what you think.

Full Combos (Difficulty Points)

1-9= 1 pt.
10-11= 2 pt.
FGO = 4 pt.

AAAs (Difficulty Points)
-----------------------------
1-8 = 1 pt.
9 = 2 pt.
10 = 4 pt.
11 = 7 pt.
12 = 10 pt.

NOTE: Similar to tier points, you will score points based off of the amounts of AAAs you have. However, FCs will also be considered as well.

For every 15 FCs, add 1 point. (15 = 1st point, 30 = 2nd point, etc.)
For every 10 AAAs, add 1 point. (10 = 1st point, 20 = 2nd point, etc)

Certain actions will give you extra points.

Moving from whatever place you are to 1st place adds 3 pts to your point totals.

***NOTE: Repeats of SONGS don't count toward your score. You don't FC a song 150 times and expect to get 10 bonus FC points, that's just not how it is.***

A song will be chosen every week, so that I have time to update. Chances are if the idea is accepted, I will create a new sub-forum to hold all of the scores.

I will also be trying to moderate this as best as I can, but I'm not perfect--but DO NOT CHEAT. I don't care if you AAA'd the song a long time ago. It didn't happen during the league, do not use the score. I want it to be clean. I mean, come on, there's no reason to cheat--if you have to manipulate your scores to gain points, that's disgusting.

I think this is a fun way to get everyone in TC not only playing to get better, but a fun reason to at least visit the forums.


NOTE: YOUR PREVIOUS STATS DO NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOWARD THE LEAGUE SCORE. IF YOU HAVE 330 AAA's ON AN FFR ACCOUNT, THEY WILL NOT BE CARRIED OVER HERE. ALL POINTS WILL BE GIVEN THROUGH THE LEAGUE.

EDIT ( 4/8/08 )--I WANT SSs of REPLAYS and SCORES. This way, I will be sure that it's legit.

yeah i think this is a good idea, it would motivate me to play on my TC accountc i dont have the BETA on it so i dont use it as much.

However, according to your point scheme, I'd only have 4 an 1/3 points...

Also, Beta needs to hurry up and free itself. They said March and look what's happened.

i will never go to beta first off and second i have 5 AAAS and like 75 or so FCs so i don't think ima be very high because i have trouble AAAing nething and FCs annoy the hell outta me on long songs

Well, as to the way this will be run...

I will create a new SUB-FORUM, from there, I will make a thread that will tell you which song will be played for the week.

I've decided that it will be a week for each song. AND...It will start today. I will start with non-av miss songs, so that everyone has a fair chance.
