[Manga] Beck

I just started this yesterday, and I'm already on volume 18. The only reason I haven't caught up to it yet is because I keep leaving the house. I think there's approximately 31 volumes out so far, and the manga is still continuing.

The plot is a unique band scene. If I were to list one minus of the manga, it's the fact that you can't hear the music being played. This is easily remedied by downloading the 26 episode series once you've caught up to the manga. I have no idea if they plan to continue to the anime in sync with the manga, but if they do, it will be grand.

Beck is filled with humor, a bit of romance, some danger, and a fuckton of music. It shows the main character morphing from an awkward kid, whose a bit boring, to someone with the potential to be a star. I refuse to give out anything more than that. Just know that it's awesome.

Damn, I'll start this ASAP then. Saw the anime and I was quite pleased.

Er, no.

I wasn't even getting online while I was reading the series. You just took forever and a day to read this thread.

I still haven't caught up with it because I haven't looked for more since I finished the pack I downloaded, but it's still really good.

I do not recommend the anime. It's nowhere near as good.
